In 2006, I founded the Galway Bay Swim, a charitable open water swimming event that takes participants across Galway Bay, a 13-kilometer swim from Aughinish to Blackrock, Salthill. The swim has since grown into one of Ireland’s largest and most successful fundraising endurance events, raising millions for local charities, particularly for Cancer Care West. I continue to actively organize and promote the event, advocating for open water safety and increasing public awareness of cancer support services.

I currently serve as Director of Marketing at Castor, where I lead global marketing strategy across content, digital, events, and demand generation. Prior to Castor, he held senior marketing positions at several healthtech and clinical research organizations.
