Appearance
Military designations in Sweden refer to the system used by the Swedish Armed Forces to categorize and name military equipment, vehicles, and weaponry. These designations have been used since the late 19th century to ensure clear and consistent communication within the armed forces.[1]
The following is a list of all designations ever given by the Swedish Armed Forces, and to what item the designation was assigned to. In some cases, there is multiple designations for the same weapon, and sometimes one designation for two weapons.
