In 2019 Pix4d launched a climate contest that invites individuals and teams to use Pix4D software to address climate change challenges. This contest promotes the use of technology in addressing environmental issues.[1]
It is an imaging and mapping software that uses drones and other mobile devices.
The devices create detailed point clouds and surface models.
Pix4D is used for multiple things such as agriculture, mining, construction, and inspection.
They believe that image-based techniques will give intelligent eyes to robotics of the future.
