Curtis Samuel

[edit]

Curtis Samuel is a running back who plays for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He is a contributor on the offensive side of the ball, as well as special teams. Samuel is a sophomore and he is a back up to Ezekiel Elliott. The word "backup" is used loosely in the Ohio State University football program, considering the Samuel scored the first touchdown of the year for the scarlet and red. Samuel grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and was highly recruited coming out of Erasmus High School. Curtis is a "rock solid" 200 pounds, and is 5''11' which is ideal for a running back. He is used in the rushing, passing, and return game for Ohio State. He is projected to have a tremendous season next year with Elliot leaving for the NFL, and a veteran offensive line that has built chemistry over two years.
