The City of Vancouver, Canada, will hold a municipal election on October 20, 2018. Canadian citizens who will be over 18 years of age at the time of the vote, and who have been a resident of Vancouver for the previous 30 days and a resident of B.C. for the previous six months, will be eligible to vote for candidates in three races presented on one ballot.[1]
The ballot will elect one mayor, 10 councillors, nine school board trustees and seven park board commissioners. Each elector can vote for as many candidates as there were open seats (e.g., an elector could vote for ten or fewer councillors).
