Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School was first located at P. Burgos St., now Fr. Barua SJ St. The students were housed in the old convent, the building adjacent to the St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish. The CFM Building and the Cursillo House were used as temporary classrooms.

In 1983, the Phase-1 of the multi-million building was constructed. The building had 10 classrooms, an office and a social hall. In June 1984, the high school students started to occupy the building.

School year 1984-1985, the Elementary Department was opened, catering to Grades I and II pupils, housed at the old convent vacated by the High School Department.

In 1986, another building was built behind the three-story building. In the same year, the old basketball court was converted into a multi-purpose covered court intended for the extra-curricular activities of the students. A new 9-room elementary building was also constructed and sprawled in a 1.5 hectare lot acquired by the school at M. Natividad St.

In summer 1988, another building was constructed in the high school campus. This houses the chapel, the school library, two classrooms and the House Economics room.

School year 1990-1991, the school acquired another lot at M. Natividad St., near Jumbo Bridge.

In June 1991, the Kindergarten and Nursery building was completed.

October 1993, the College Department was opened with Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and Liberal Arts with Majors in Philosophy and Mass Communications as its initial offerings, occupying the Gonzaga Building in the High School Department until the transfer of the latter at Jumbo Bridge, M. Natividad St.

In February 1994, the High School department was transferred again to its original site at Fr. Barua SJ St. The College Department was also transferred to M. Natividad St. A new program was offered: Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Other programs like Bachelor of Science in Management and Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management Accounting, which was replaced by Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Majors in Financial Management and Marketing Management were offered in the succeding years.

In 1997, Rt. Rev. Msgr. David M. Alonzo, Ph.D was installed as the School Director. Under his administration, the Knowledge Resource Center (KRC) Building was constructed in 2005. It housed the library, function hall, computer lab, AVR, and rooftop with physical fitness equipment. In 2013, another three-story building (Gonzaga II) with 9 classrooms, once of which was used for E-Learning was built.

In 2015, the construction of the building which connects the KRC and Gonzaga II buildings had started. In the same year, there was a reshuffling among Archdiocesan priests in which Rev. Fr. Filmore D. Calibo, Ph.D was assigned as the School Director.

In 2019, a second Elementary building was built to replace the old, decaying building. It contained 10 classrooms, a comfort room and a Conference Room. In 2020, the school transitioned to the blended-learning approach due to the rising cases of COVID-19. The school also applied for PAASCU Accreditation.

In 2021, the old building was renovated and connected into the new building. In 2023, the school once again introduced the traditional Face to Face classes. In the same year, the school was accredited Level I by PAASCU.
