Gary Moe, age 42, is Executive Vice President of ID Integration (IDI), a company that he co-founded in 1999. Moe, based in Everett, Washington, has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and over 25 years’ experience in implementing engineered systems in military, aerospace, automotive and microelectronics industries.

IDI is a privately-held company with its' headquarters in Renton, Washington. It is a distributor and systems integrator of marketing and bar code systems, products which enable people to permanently identify and mark machine parts for tracking and safety purposes. Gary Moe provides expertise for direct part marking, reading and verification of 2D bar codes on parts and tools.

UID professionals are involved in the development of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Unique Identifier (UID) policy and are a part of the UID technical working groups for policy, implementation and compliance issues.
