Day Translations, Inc. is a professional translation and interpretation service provider. The company was founded in 2007 and maintains its main office in Tampa, Florida, USA. They also have 20 regional offices across the United States, in Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington DC, New York, Houston and Dallas. Other regional offices can be found in New Orleans, Phoenix and Tucson, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, Boston and Philadelphia. There are also offices located in Baltimore, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
The company has adapted to the globalization of businesses by expanding its services worldwide, working with a dedicated team of native speakers and experts with years of international experience in the field of translation and interpretation in almost all parts of the world. From several offices within the United States, Day Translations today has branches in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Japan, China, Dubai, Russia, Spain, Mexico, India, South Africa, Argentina, Colombia and Hong Kong. It recently opened its newest branch in Frankfurt, Germany in March 2012.[1]
Day Translations interprets and translates in over 250 languages and dialects.
History
Day Translations is a division of Day Commerce, Inc., a company engaged in international business and marketing, document scanning and imaging and translation and localization. Sean Patrick Hopwood, President and CEO of Day Translations, Inc. is the grandson of Francis Jay Day, the founder of Day Commerce. He has always been interested in languages and as a child learned to speak Spanish by talking to Mexican friends and listening to comedy tapes.[2]
Clients
Since its inception four years ago, Day Translations has worked with a host of clients in almost all fields, with prestigious clients like entertainment company HBO Boxing, Spanish telecommunications giant Telefónica, Cornell University, UNICEF, Hilton Hotel and Deutsch Bank.[3]
Awards
Its company president has been awarded a Rising Stars recognition from Florida Trend in October 2009[4] given by the American Registry and was likewise recognized by the city of Tampa as one of its rising young entrepreneurs.[5]
