2013 | 1 | 100.0 | 100.0 | 0.2 |
Key:
- Year: Year of successful RfA.
- % still admin: percentage of appointees in that year who are still admins.
- % active admin: percentage of appointees in that year who are still active admins (as defined by Wikipedia:List of administrators - 30 or more edits in the previous two months)
- % of active admins: percentage of the current active admin corps who were appointed in that year.
Note that there are 34 current admins who were not promoted through RfA. They make up 2.34% of all current admins and 1.46% of all currently active admins. This is for one of the following reasons:
- They became admins before the present on-wiki RfA process was created (User:NoSeptember/RfA chronological has a list of admins appointed prior to this).
- They are a bot (see WP:ADMINBOT for the procedure on appointing adminbots).
- They gained admin rights as a result of the work they do or did for the WMF.
- In a few rare cases they passed RfA under a previous username. I haven't included these cases for privacy reasons.
Interestingly the general rule that administrators from earlier years tend to be less active ceases to be valid after 2007. This suggests that the decline in the number of active administrators will eventually stop, though we have some way to go yet.
