The Louisiana Lynx are an American professional baseball team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Lynx compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) Central division. The team joined the league as an expansion team in 1984. The Lynx have played their home games at Wells Fargo Field since 2013, and previously played at Yunit Stadium and Louisiana Superdome (now known as "Mercedes-Benz Superdome").
