Chris Rhoades is an American, Austin, Texas-based Singer, Roots Rock, country and rockabilly artist, best known for his Bass contributions to by country and rock musicians including Two Tons of Steel, Wayne Hancock, Jesse Dayton, Rosie Flores and John Doe, As well as singer and song writer in The Bar Bawl 3

Rhoades was born in Sacramento California, but spent his formable years in Goshen Indiana where he cut his teeth playing in punk, Metal, Blue and Rockabilly bands. After leaving Indiana he landed in Austin Tx where he began working with Wayne Hancock (2003). In 2006 he Joined Two Tons of Steel and after 6 years he left to play with Jesse Dayton and John Doe.

Since then Rhoades and Founding member of the Bar Brawl III and Childhood friend Matt Thomas released and album (2014) on the American Adrenaline label and Was on David Letterman with John Doe in June of 2014.
