Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh Sarkar was born on 1st October,1913 in madhubani Deorhi (chota traf) He was the son of Babu Hitendra Singh,grandson of Babu Durgadatt Singh and great grandson of Prince Kirti Singh of the (Raj Darbhanga), who formed the whole Madhubani Deorhi. Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh was the prince of Babubarhi and contributed to many institutes like he also contribute in J.N. College (Jagdish Nandan Singh Mahavidyalya) by giving his land and also he gives his lands to Nepal Railways on rent and contributed so many other things to government. He was the head of the Madhubani estate (Junior Branch),its main source of income comes from Zamindari and farming(khetiwari). His wife's name was Shrimati Gunjeshwari Bauaasin/Singh (married:1959). Shrimati Gunjeshwari Bauaasin/Singh has also contributed to many educational institutes like Mount Carmel School in madhubani and Zemsford Hospital in madhubani. Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh has also builded the Sankat Mochan Mandir of god Hanuman in madhubani. He has also many wealth out of which he donate many to Public and Government. He has many lands in both Madhubani and Babubarhi. Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh's wife, Shrimati Gunjeshwari Bauaasin/Singh was died on 30th May, 2024 in madhubani Deorhi(chota traf)at the age of 93,while Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh was died on 5th June, 1997 at madhubani Deorhi(chota traf) at the age of 84. The Contributions of Babu Jagadish Nandan Singh and Shrimati Gunjeshwari Bauaasin/Singh will be remembered forever.
