Hany Labib is an Egyptian writer, and a member of the Coptic Secular Group demanding reform of the Coptic Church. he writes a daily article in Rose al-Yusuf newspaper entitled ‘Free Pen’. He was a consultant for the Voter Education Content Coordination at International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and member in the Media Committee (Consulting Committee in Bibliotheca Alexandrina).
Labib is the Editor in Chief and host of ‘Montada Sat 7’ Program on Sat 7 channel, as well as the host of ‘Malaf Khas’ or ‘Special file’ Program.
He was a trainer in the Women Right of Political Work Program, part of Appropriate Communication Techniques for Development (ACT); and an active member the Consultant Committee of (Young Doa'a and Pastors Program) part of Dialogue of Cultures (Cultural Development Department of CEOSS [Coptic Evangelical Organization of Social Services]).
He is also a Member of the Evaluation Committee for the Impact of The part of Dialogue of Cultures of CEOSS, and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Project “Civic Education for Children” of CEOSS.
He was appointed as the Managing Director of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation (CIDT).

Labib had Received the State Incentive Award in the field of Social Science (Modern History) from the Ministry of Culture (Higher Council of Culture) for the book ‘Citizenship and Globalization’ 2006.
