Giorgio Taricco
[edit]Giorgio Taricco was born in Turin in 1961. He received his Dr. Eng. degree in 1985. Then, he worked in CSELT and Centro Ricerche FIAT until 1991. Then, he became assistant professor in the Department of Electronics at Politecnico di Torino. Since 2007, he has been a full professor of information theory and digital communications. His research interests involve the study of communication systems from an information theoretical point, including wireless systems, multiuser systems, MIMO communications, Sensor networks, MIMO Relay channels, Non-Orthogonal Multiple-Access communication systems. He worked with many other researcher in the field, like Ezio Biglieri and Giuseppe Caire. He received the IEEE Fellow award in 2010.
