Purpose
[edit]This script displays information about the last edit to the page.
The following details are shown just below the page title:
- ⇒ Last edited by
- the username of the editor — linked to their user page
- (talk | contribs) — standard links to the user's talk page and contributions
- how long ago the page was edited — such as "46 minutes ago"
- (diff) — a link to the diff for the edit
- the edit summary
Examples:
- ⇒ Last edited by GhostInTheMachine (talk | contribs) 6 months ago (diff) — use t/script
- ⇒ Last edited by GhostInTheMachine (talk | contribs) 9 months ago (diff) — →Notes: link to the gadget info
Prerequisites

Installing
[edit]Add the following line to your common.js file.

Notes
[edit]This script was shamelessly stolen from User:Eizen/LastEditor as of 2021-01-18 (not changed since).
- Eizen has not edited since 2021-05-15.
I then made a few changes:
- The information was split over two lines. I reduced the output a bit, so that it displays on only one line.
- I added a couple of spaces at the start of the line, so that it aligns with the output generated by XTools gadget
- which uses calls to the XTools API
- and outputs something like this (the links here to XTools are not being show quite right):
