Niko is a 2D platform game that revolves around a monkey-like creature named Niko. Being the primary character in the game, Niko can be made to move left and right by pressing arrow buttons, or made to jump by pressing him and shooting him like a slingshot projectile. With each level there is a three star rating system, with the score being dependent on the amount of coins and gold discs the player collects. The overarching goal of the game is to save Niko's 4 friends from captivity. [4] [5]
The game is free to play, but only six levels were playable. The full version can be bought for $1.99, allowing access to two more worlds and 24 more levels. [6]
