A prelude to my works of art – a reflection through words. I love to fancy that the Sun is our father and the earth is our mother. We are born on this earth, have our all achievements and failures and finally we take here our permanent repose. We all are like other living animals of this land – a specimen of ‘Homo sapiens’.

 Man is the highest form of animals and has attained the unique position in earth by dint of his superior intelligence and god gifted powers to make much strides in the path of civilization and has established supremacy in the whole animal kingdom.
  I really wonder to be a fragmentary part of this cosmic world, playing a significant role to prove my existence as a part of the whole.

Now the human civilization has advanced a lot. This is quite advantageous for us as human beings. We are astonished to unveil and to experience the mysterious pictures of the universe through Havel’s telescope. This has become possible for us as we are human beings. We are proud of being it. I am very much indebted to my parents who have given me the life of a human.

  Great changes have taken place in the sphere of physical nature as the result of evolution down the ages. This world of ours is full of myriads of confusing and conflicting situations, phenomena and celestial advancements, is the result life on earth is a miraculous creation and of several phenomenal reactions.
  However many great personalities have been born to make this mother earth, a place to live in with all glory. Apart from this phenomenal panorama, there are the effects of civilized social interactions which have amply testified the humanitarian and philanthropic services rendered to the human beings for the amelioration of the sorrows and sufferings of the teeming millions so that humanity is not at all endangered and extinguished. In spite of their best efforts, animality, ferocity, immorality and various other fissiparous forces are not all totally gone with the wind, these are still evident sometimes, somewhere. As a natural protective measure religion or dharma acted as the shield to protect the peace loving peoples of the world. All religions aim at the same thing furtherance of humanity and establish harmony among men. All goodness forms the core of all religion. 
  The opposites are existing all through in all societies of the world.

The good and the bad, the light and darkness, the profane and the sacred – all remain and cast their shadows on our mother earth. This is an eternal feature.

  The drama is still going on here, there everywhere in this land of living. We are acting at the great power’s will. As change are taking place in the cosmos, so are these changes happening in the human world. This is the perennial mystery going on and on.

In this way our modern civilization is advancing with all excitements, romances, eventful experiences and many other awesome happenings. In the process very many achievements of the whole human race have glorified the mother earth. At times scientific discoveries, inventions, exploration, other creative and constructive elements like language, literature, mathematical discoveries, Arts of all forms have made the whole human history more colourfull and enriched. When was this vast universe created there was none to look at it. But now when in it human civilization has been flourished, non else than human beings are there to look at it in wonder.

  Sometimes my imagination shudders to think the vastness of the expanse of the cosmos and our existence as small particles in it. If appears to me as a great wonder that our lives have got a shelter on this blue earth and we have become co sharers of the great cosmic events that are taking place continuously.
  All these thoughts and ideas make me more apprehensive of the finality of our lives.

However in my pictures I have always tried to present the darker elements of the society somewhat willfully only to give expression to the man’s exciting lifestyles which bring more disastrous results to change the course of life. Very consciously I try to make my viewers more aware of the adventurous lifestyles which may lead to calamity. Therefore they carefully realize the aftereffects of such styles of life and put a check to such attempts only to give the members of the incoming generation a rejuvenated ways of leading their lives in this world. A new world of vision may be created thereby with newer hopes and aspirations so that a new vista of life can be opened in future.
