Signal Processing: Image Communication (ISSN: 0923-5965) is an international scientific journal published by Elsevier. The journal covers theoretical and practical aspects of image communication. More specifically, it publishes original research work and review articles addressing the design, implementation and use of image communication systems. Its scope encompasses: TV, HDTV, 3DTV, visual science, image and video coding, image and video transmission, interactive communication, image storage and retrieval, graphics, imaging and display technologies, and architectures for image communication.

The current Editor-in-Chief is Frederic Dufaux (CNRS and TELECOM ParisTech). The journal publishes 10 issues per year. In 2011, its impact factor is 1.186 and its 5-year impact factor is 1.105.
