Fábio Augusto de Carvalho

Fábio Augusto de Carvalho (1980 – present) is a Brazilian writer, executive and Hypnotist. He is a specialist in technology, business consulting and people management, he has worked as an executive, manager and business consultant in several countries. He holds a degree in Information Technology Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas - São Paulo, in Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital from the University of Chile - where he was rewarded as Outstanding Alumni in Executive Education by the Department of Information Systems and Management at the University of Chile. He holds a MBA from FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas - Rio de Janeiro.

Biography

Fábio was born in Jataí, Goiás, Brazil. During the last two decades he has developed his studies, research and practice in the field of areas such as Hypnosis, Neurolinguistic Programming, Coaching, metaphysical and synchronicity sciences. His background includes certifications and experience applying, teaching and writing about those topics. He is the current president of the North Texas Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotist, he was president of the Brazilian Society of Hypnology, he is an accredited instructor of the International Hypnosis Federation and the Brazilian Academy of Hypnology and Neurolinguistics, he is a member certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy, the International Hypnosis Association, the International Association of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, among other entities. He lived for 7 years in Santiago de Chile where he also became a private pilot.

He coordinates study groups of the so-called “altered states of consciousness” and is the host of the HypnoCast - a podcast about hypnosis. Currently, he lives in the metropolitan area of Dallas, Texas, United States.
