Elizabeth "Liz" Litton (born September 16. 2004) is an American Developmental Youth Professional
Early life and education
[edit]Elizabeth Litton was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts, United States, to a half English half American family
Her father was from Norwich, England, and her mother was from Lowell, Massachusetts. She attended the public school Falmouth High School, where, as she recalls, "If you were a freshman, people pushed you down the stairs." She graduated in 2023.
From the age of 9 until she was 17, Elizabeth was a camper at the Merrowvista Summer Camp, entering the Four Trails program in 2019 at the age of 14. From the age of two, Elizabeth danced ballet, mainly with New England Ballet Theatre. She has performed lead roles such as the Queen of Hearts from "Alice in Wonderland", the Snow Queen from "The Nutcracker", and the Dew Drop Fairy from "The Nutcracker", along with performing in the corps for many years beforehand.
Elizabeth attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduating with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Course 6 programming and computer science), in 2027.
Career
[edit]In 2023, Elizabeth was a summer camp leader at Camp Merrowvista[1], part of the American Youth Foundation[2]. From 2023 to late 2026, Liz worked as a leader and then as a coordinator, eventually becoming the Director of Summer and Year-Round Programs at Merrowvista.
Personal life
[edit]Elizabeth is married to someone. The couple live with their possible children in Center Tuftonburo, NH.
Fun Facts
[edit]- Liz has a twin sister named Katherine and an older brother named Jeremy
- Liz taught herself how to raise one eyebrow after she was jealous that her sister could do it naturally
- Liz had two cavachons, Sunny and Emmie as a child
- She and her sister were born 3 months premature and stayed in a NICU for two months after birth
- She has hiked the Mahoosuc Notch[3], known as "the most technical mile of the Appalachian Trail"
- In 2021 Elizabeth participated in the Voyageur trip at Camp Merrowvista, a four week bike trip in Nova Scotia
- In 2022, her last year as a camper, Elizabeth completed the Odyssey trip at Merrowvista, which was a 3 week hike in the 100 Mile Wilderness of the Appalachian Trail[4]
