As the Universe Speeds Up, the Realization that a Gravitational Slide to Collapse and not Necessarily a Massive Collision may have Caused the Big Bang
Once thought of as the “Great Slowdown,” where scientists believed that the universe was being pulled upon by massive gravitational forces to slow down its expansion, we now have reason to believe that there are other forces at work and that the universe is actually speeding up as it expands further into the reaches of space. A not to obvious explanation of this may not be as mysterious sounding as “dark energy,” but may be gravity working as it should – in a never-ending cycle of collapse, explosion and expansion.
In 1988 I wrote an article for Omni magazine as Anonymous that spoke to the effect and discovery of possible “white holes,” which are exit points of black holes. Further investigation points to black holes not only being massive gravitational forces that are pulling in light and matter but that they may hold onto that matter within the fabric of space. As the Universe Speeds up, the realization that a gravitational slide to collapse and not necessarily a massive collision may have caused the “Big Bang.”
A gravitational slide means that as black holes pull in more and more material their gravitational pull increases. As this gravitational pull increases within the black hole it doesn’t just sit there idly by and wait on unsuspecting items to fall within its grasp like a funnel web spider but is actually moving through space just like other items expanding in the universe. The black hole then attracts more and more black holes like itself because of that massive gravitational force. As most scientists will tell you or as you read yourself you will find that most if not all black holes make movement towards the edge of the known universe as the universe expands. This movement is caused by the ever growing attraction of collapsed matter and light trapped within the black hole. As these black holes build in gravitational force they begin to move faster in their outer expansion to the edges of the universe. They also move faster to the edge of the expanding universe because they are moving towards one another. Like magnetic ball bearings in a large funnel. Once the collapsed material becomes heavier and heavier they then release their collapsed material after their limit of capacity is reached. Or the material comes in contact with something that provides a path of release. Picture a water droplet becoming bigger as it comes in contact with other droplets moving down the windshield of a car and then once it comes in contact with a stream of water, all the water that was built up follows the flow of the streaming water that much faster because of the build up. The universe is a cycle of replenishment and rebirth just as other forces within the natural world. The recent find that we are speeding up now means that we have passed the half way point and moving ever faster towards eventual collapse. Which means further that rebirth and another “Big Bang” will occur shortly thereafter.
