"Iraq Lobster" is a parody of "Rock Lobster" sung by Peter Griffin in "Screams of Silence: The Story of Brenda Q." This scene plays when Peter Griffin claims that Brenda Quagmire's boyfriend Jeff is as scary as an Iraq lobster. It is the 17th Episode of the 5th Season of Family guy. The song is a parody of the 1978 song "Rock Lobster" by American band The B-52's.
Believe it or not, Iraq lobster is a actual lobster. It is a Spiny lobster, also known as langustas, langouste, or rock lobsters, they are a family (Palinuridae) of about 60 species of achelate crustaceans, in the Decapoda Reptantia.
This episode and scene is also foreshadowing for a upcoming episode called " Saving Private Brian." In this episode, that stars Stewie and Brain from Family Guy, they go fight in Iraq, and they meet the Iraq lobster.
