Melanie Kill is an assistant professor of English at the University of Maryland where she studies digital rhetoric and genre change. She participated in the Wikimedia Foundation's Summer of Research 2011 and was a member of the Wikimedia Foundation Research Committee (RCom). She is currently chairing the task force behind the CCCC Wikipedia Initiative.
