Guru Swarup Srivastava Social Worker, Art Lover, Film Producer Mr Guru Swarup Srivastava ( गुरु स्वरूप श्रीवास्तव, 15 December, 1952) has a lifelong track record of outstanding and continuing contribution to reforming the socio economic ecosystem of Indian contemporary Art internationally. He is recognised in LIMCA BOOK Of RECORDS as first person to Corporatise Art. Born in Dayalbagh, Agra, UP, academically he has a Bachelor Degree in Science from Agra University (renamed B.R. Ambedkar University) with Merit and a Post Graduate Degree from IIT Delhi. His outstanding contribution to reforming the commercial and socio-economic ecosystem surrounding Art makes him eminently suitable for Padma Shri Award. Presently, he is making epic film “Ramayan” in the realm of quantum science of Consciousness. Contribution to Art Ecosystem since 2004 Corporatised Indian Contemporary Art in 2004 by splashing the Art world with never seen before socio economic transition. He is recognised in Limca Book of Record for promoting Indian Contemporary Art Internationally and for being the first person to Corporatise Art. It always takes a maverick to see beyond the obvious and the usual. Indian Art had fallen into a value trap below their intrinsic value. While connoisseurs of Indian art could do little to shake up the art market for Indian Artists, Guru Swarup’s relentless efforts reformed the socio economic ecosystem of Art World to discover the aura, mystic and diversity of Indian Art.
