If you want to work on the things listed go right ahead. Post to my talk page if you want some direction. As I tend to be rather busy and working on my tool server apps I am unlikely to complete these. When done just strike them out.
- In article space
- Improve and merge the articles on readability algorithms as as they are not quite correct. I've already began work at Simple English.
- In template space
- Checking with legal about the licensing in template space and if it legal for other wikis using Creative Commons licensees to use our source
- Fix URL template and create a new {{navbar}} that resolves all the old issues
- Help with Template cleanup at Wikipedia:Deprecated and orphaned templates
- Create a navbox template which fill the values automatically from categories. Such to demonstrate why navboxes should have a limited scope.
- Reinstate {{VG navigation}}
- Toolserver Tools
- Create a spell check which uses Wiktionary as the dictionary
- Standardize Wiktionary's word meta information
- Create plugin dictionaries for other application
- Using artificial intelligence build a link map of what domain articles are in and use this to build an intelligent wikifier that can deal with word sense issues
- Refactor and release source to checklinks.py
- Implement one of the new designs for the Map list page (GeoHack)
- Miscellaneous
- Get the AWB developers to work to implement some of my Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/Feature requests
- Work toward implementing a spell checker in the search (large complaint in in my usability studies)
- Document our wikimarkup at meta:Wikitext standard
