When Frederik asks about Jon having sex with 14-year-old Alberte, he refutes Karin's accusations, recalls Karin was so drunk she could not look after Alberte. Louise arrives befere Swedish police. She approaches cabin, enters through unlocked door. She sees smoke from bedroom, tries to wake Lena. Gunnar points gun at Louie, orders her to leave. When exiting door she slams into Gunnar grabs his dropped gun. Gunnar blocks her way to Lena; goads her to shoot him. Swedish police arrive, subdue them both; Lena's saved.
