Sheriff Olaitan Salaudeen (born April 6, 1981), is a Nigerian music plugger[1] and CEO of MuchMusic Less Talk;[2] a promotional outfit and media outreach that is into artists promotion and have worked with artistes like Olamide, Asake, Fireboy DML, 9ice, Reminisce, Small Doctor, Korede Bello and May D.[3] He is also known for his work as the official music plugger for YBNL Nation, which he helped boost the careers of artists like Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Asake,Ycee, Ayo Maff.[4][5]

Early life

Olaitan was born on April 6, 1981, in Agege, Lagos, Nigeria. He developed an interest in music at a very young age during his teenage years while attending Arabic lessons known as Ile-kewu.

Education

He attended St. Joseph Secondary School, Idi-Mangoro, Agege, and then studied Mass Communication at Lagos State Polytechnic, where he graduated in 2008. He later completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program at NTA Minna, Niger State.

Career

Olaitan began his career in music promotion after completing his NYSC program. He worked at Television Continental (TVC) for two years, gaining experience in media and promotions. In 2010, he transitioned fully into music promotion where he started Much Music Less Talk[6] and then became the music plugger for YBNL Nation, where he has contributed to the careers of various Nigerian artists.

As the music plugger for YBNL Nation, Olaitan has been involved in the promotion of artists such as Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Asake, and Ycee. His efforts have supported the visibility and growth of Nigerian music, contributing to its recognition on international platforms.[7][8] He is widely recognized as one of Nigeria's most influential music plugger.[1]

Personal life

Olaitan is a practicing Muslim and regularly observes religious rites. He has performed Hajj and Umrah, attending Umrah on an annual basis.

He is married and has three children: Iremide, Ireayo, and Ireanu.
