An award winning designer, recent credits include: PHANTOM,MY FAIR LADY, CATS, SWEENEY TODD, S'WONDERFUL and WEST SIDE STORY for The Gateway Playhouse; The new production of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA for Jakarta, Indonesia; SISTERS OF SWING, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and THE UNEXPECTED GUEST for The Gretna Playhouse; FOOTLOOSE for The North Shore Music Theatre and The Cape Playhouse; CRAZY FOR YOU for The Cape Playhouse and The Maltz Jupiter Theatre and The Feature Film COLLAR starring Tom Sizemore, Rebecca DeMornay, Richard Roundtree, Novella Nelson and David Wilson. Mr. Rivera has won the 2012 Carbonell Award for Best Costume Design for THE MUSIC MAN, 2011 Carbonell Award for Best Costume Design for JOSEPH....DREAMCOAT, 2010 Carbonell award for Best Costume Design for LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and The 2008 Carbonell Award for Best Costume Design for THE BOYFRIEND all at The Maltz Jupiter Theatre. His other awards include: An ITL Best Costume Design Award for THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES; An Emmy Award for GROUCHO: A LIFE AND REVUE and The 1996 Barrymore Award for MY ONE AND ONLY for The Bristol Riverside Theatre.
