Dean Ivan Odongo (born in 1997), also Dean Odongo[1], is a Ugandan actor, programmer and civil servant. He is the First Vice President Administration of the Uganda Rowing Federation. He was elected to that position on 10 April 2021 during the AGM.[2]
Dean was born in 1997, in Kampala, a small community in the Central Region of Uganda. He is the son of Ariko Joseph and Eloku Sarah, being their second-born.[2]
He attended St. Charlse Lwanga international school for his middle school (O-Level) and Godmark High school for his high school (A-Level) education, graduating with a High School Diploma, from there. He was admitted to Cavendish University Uganda where she pursued a Bachelor of Computer Sciences degree. Following that, he specialized in Ethical hacking and advanced penetration tests and was awarded a Diploma in Ethical hacking.
Dean worked for a brief period at Afri- IT consult, before he joined the Hackers Forum. From there he went to DeAn Corp Africa where he was given the title of the Executive Director in Charge of Administrative affairs. In that capacity, he served as a volunteer for draw a smile Uganda. In 2021, he was elected vice president administration Uganda Rowing federation [3]at Uganda Olympics Committee on April 10, specifically tasked to manage and handle the administrative work in the Rowing sector.
