I am quite familiar with the pursuit of scavenging and obtaining data, but not just any data because bad data ultimately leads to flawed insights and unreliable conclusions. Hence, including data just to show more isn't always the solution, it can often be the problem.
I analyze and manipulate data both with computer programming scripts and manually through database software. Typically I do this so that the data is cleaned up and tidied before it is sent off to our clients. Like I hinted at earlier, any amount of bad data can condemn the quality of the rest of the data, especially if said data is going somewhere public for all to see.
In terms of education, I have my high school diploma, my general education AA degree, a computer programming and analysis AS degree, and a computer programming certificate - all from St. Petersburg College. I currently am pursuing my BS degree in Information Science through USF.
I also am a student of LIS 2005 Information Literacy at the University of South Florida for the summer 2025 semester.
