Career

High School Soccer

Sacchini began his soccer career at Oak Ridge High School, Conroe, Texas in 2006 and played defender for the Junior Varsity team as a freshman. He started at the defender position. His sophomore, junior and senior years, Sacchini started as a defender gaining all district his junior and senior years <http://www.chron.com/sports/high-school/article/All-Greater-Houston-Soccer-Superlatives-1539061.php>. He captained the team his senior and finished his career with four goals.

Sacchini played for the Rush Swoosh team in 2007-2009 and from 2009-2010 he played on the Nike U-18 team that won the Texas State Championship in May of 2010

College

Sacchini played four years as a defender and defensive mid-fielder at Concordia University Texas,<http://athletics.concordia.edu/roster.aspx?roster=144&path=msoc> a Div. III school playing in the American Southwest Conference (ASC). He started all four years, captained the Tornados his senior year, and finished 3rd in school history for appearances.

Semi-Professional

In February, 2014, Sacchini was signed by FSV Erlangen-Bruck of the Landesliga Bayern-Nordost (VI) . When Sacchini reported for preseason in January of 2016, and just after the closing of the German soccer signing window, Sacchini was informed his player pass had not been released from his prior club, thus making him ineligible to play for Sportfreunde Schwäbisch Hall.

Professional

After trialing with CD Vida of the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras in the summer of 2016 for six weeks, Sacchini trialed from August to October, 2016 with Assyriska IK before being signed to a one-year contract in November of 2016.

Personal Life

Christian Sacchini was born in South Bend, IN and raised in El Paso, Texas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. His mother is from Mexico and his father is from South Bend, IN and is of Irish, Polish and Italian ethnicity. He has one brother, Alexis Sacchini, who is studying pre-med at Baylor University in Waco, TX. His grandfather, Mike Sacchini, was a member of the 1957 undefeated Indiana high school state champions, in basketball, the South Bend Central Bears, and has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball and wrestling hall of fame. Christian moved to The Woodlands, Texas a month before enrolling in 9th grade at Oak Ridge, High School. He graduated from high school in 2010 and enrolled at Concordia University in Austin, TX studying computer science. He speaks English, Spanish and German.
