It also produced happyness, contentment, cheerfulness, and tranquility. It was a physical nature because singing was exrcise for peoples lungs. The committee justified music's intellectual nature. Another advocate of music in public is Swiss educational reformer Johann Heinrich Pestonalozzi. He believed that nature was the ultimate and original source of knowledge. Pestalozzi lives in Switzerland. His Pestalozzian approach to mach was brought to the United States. Music education is remained most common in woman’s schools.
