Meret Manon Sarpong Bannerman (born June 26, 2002), known mononymously as Manon, is a Swiss singer. She is a member of the global girl group Katseye that was formed through the 2023 reality show Dream Academy, under HYBE Labels and Geffen Records.[1]
Early life
[edit]Manon was born on June 26, 2002[2] in Zürich, Switzerland. to a Swiss-Italian mother, and a Ghanian father.[3] Manon has been a Songwriter since she was 5 years old. she can speak English, German, Swiss-German and basic French.
Career
[edit]Manon participated in the survival show "The Debut: Dream Academy" where she ranked sixth place, becoming the final member of Katseye.
she made her debut as a member of katseye on August 16, 2024 with their first EP "SIS (Soft Is Strong)"[1] after releasing their first single "Debut" on in June 28, 2024.[2]
