Introduction
[edit]Hello, I am Bruce Wen and I am from China. My Chinese name is Guangming Wen.
My internet ID is wenijinew. For example, you can find me on GitHub by my profile link: https://github.com/wenijinew. Yes, I am a coder.
I started to work since 2005 when I graduated from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. My major was Computer Science and Technology. In the university, I learnt programming languages C/C++ and Java. I also learnt many other courses in computer field.
As a Java developer, I worked for about 14 years. After that, I gradually moved to Python and engaged on Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence related projects.
Now, I live in Stockholm with my family and worked at Ericsson as one developer.
Hobbies
[edit]My father is a calligraphy enthusiast. Influenced by him, I have loved writing, especially writing with a brush, since I was a child. As I grow older, my hobbies become more and more. For example, I like traveling and exploring unfamiliar environments. I also like watching movies and often unconsciously empathize with the protagonists.
My biggest hobbies are reading and writing. I often read Wikipedia, and I often publish technical articles on Medium. You can reach me on Medium by my profile link: https://medium.com/@wenijinew.
Professional Achievements
[edit]As a developer, I naturally enjoy coding everyday. I like to visualize the abstract concept and logics. I studied PlantUML for long time. Now, I am good at drawing kinds of UML diagrams which are important for software analysis and design.
IDE is weapons for developers. I took much time on different classic IDEs includes Vim (and Neovim), Emacs, and VsCode. For IDE, theme is one important aspect to make developer more comfortable to work on it for long time. I invented one strategy to auto-generate limitless different themes for different IDEs. The project is still in private status for now and maintained by myself. It's hosted on GitHub. When it's mature, I will make it public and invite more developers to continuously refine it. It could be one huge project or one eco-system. The reason is that theme exists everywhere in computer domain. We can generate themes not only for IDEs but for browsers, terminal, general editors, and so on.
Python is one great programming language. There are lots of libraries to make it even greater than any other programming languages, especially in data sciences area.
