Stephen Clifford Brocklehurst, (born 5th July 1980) also known by his stage name Talent, is a British actor, rapper, singer, director, producer, writer, and spoken word artist.
Early life
[edit]Brocklehurst grew up in Wolverhampton. A bright kid, he attended Queen Mary's Grammar School. After completing his studies there he attended Brownsboro High School in Texas to secure his American Diploma, whilst at the same time studying Drama for Film at the John Robert Powers School in Dallas, Texas. Brocklehurst went on to study English Literature at University College London. After his studies he founded Mischief Entertainment and later ImmorTalented Productions as platforms for his work as a performer.
Rapper and Spoken Word Artist
[edit]Brocklehurst is best known for his work as a rapper and spoken word artist and has twice been a finalist in the National UK Unsigned Competition. He performs with a crew he established called the Beyond Talent eXperience (BTX). BTX members are Chris Godson, Mas, Kofi, Metis and BlackMale. In 2008, Talent wrote and recorded a track called "Everyman" as well as producing and directing the music video which was nominated for Best New Artist at the Exposure Music Awards. He continues to perform in and around London and the UK and 2012 performed on Britain's Got Talent making it through to the live show but narrowly missing being taken on to the next round.
