Matthew Campbell Watson (born 13 July 1973) is a British motor journalist. He is mainly known for presenting the U.K based company Carwow's official YouTube channel of the same name.
Career
[edit]In 2013, Watson hosted the ITV4 programme I Want That Car alongside Rebecca Jackson.[1][2][3][4]
YouTube
[edit]Watson started making car videos for the Auto Express and Carbuyer YouTube channels.[4] Watson started his own YouTube channel under the name of Mat Watson Cars on April 25th, 2011.[5] In 2016, Watson left Carbuyer to start making videos for the UK online car marketplace site Carwow's YouTube channel.[4][6][7] He would later become Carwow's Chief Content Officer.[4] He still continues to create content on his personal YouTube channel.[4]
Personal life
[edit]He studied Chemistry at University of Edinburgh, graduating with a BSc degree in Chemistry. His wife's name is Jo and they have a daughter called Grace.
