Article Evaluation

[edit]
  • The last sentence chronicled what happened in 2012, but never revealed any other updates after it, from 2013 to right now in 2018.
  • There was one paragraph that detailed how women earned the right to study at Rutgers. It seemed pro-feminist, portraying women as these heroes who sacrificed everything to earn equal rights.
  • There was a mention of the first college football game at Rutgers, but it never went into that much detail as to why it was so important.
  • Some of the links to certain sources do not work or redirect me to an error page. There were others that did work, but at least one of those sources was barely reliable.
  • Again, because the majority of sources I tried to look up were broken, there was practically almost no way I could figure out if they were biased or not. Though, the articles I did look up weren't really that much biased themselves.
  • The article led up to an event in 2012. That meant that the article hadn't been updated in a long time to feature events between 2013 and 2018.
  • In the Talk page, it seems to talk about adding in history of Rutgers' athletics.
  • Because the article was something on Wikipedia that I could look up any time I want, I could gain more details from it than I would just three hours worth of what little information I could get.
