CodeBroker is a mobile marketing company. It delivers mobile promotions to consumers on behalf of its retail customers. CodeBroker was founded in 2007 and currently partners with some of the largest retailers in the US and Canada supporting nearly 25,000 retail locations. Through its partners, CodeBroker has delivered more than 150 million secure, scannable mobile coupons since the solution first became available. CodeBroker is based in Belmont, Massachusetts.

[edit]Using CodeBroker, retailers deliver secure, one-time-use offers and coupons to their customer’s mobile devices. CodeBroker is comprised of three distinct modules: sophisticated mobile coupons, enterprise-class SMS messaging, and complementary location & social services.
CodeBroker’s unique one-time-use coupons guarantee the offer is used once and only once. Regardless of the channel the customer has chosen to view the coupon (SMS/mobile web, Passbook, email, etc.), they will always receive the same coupon. Once the coupon is redeemed, it becomes invalid in all channels. Retailers maintain complete control over who receives and redeems offers minimizing fraud and increasing customer engagement.
CodeBroker supports three classes of messages: marketing alerts, service alerts and Smart Connect. Marketing alerts allow retailers to readily connect with their customers regarding upcoming events or respond to requests for more information. Common promotions include subscription lists, instant win, sweepstakes and voting – all designed to keep customers engaged with the brand. Service alerts enhance the customer experience by providing personalized messages such as order online -- pick up in store and pharmacy alerts. Smart Connect lets retailers create, test and deploy large and complex campaigns involving iBeacons, NFC tags, QR codes, or short URLs ensuring the right code goes on the right sign and delivers the right content.
Social capabilities include the ability to deliver single-use coupons via Facebook when customers click on a posted offer or “gift” offers to their Facebook friends. Coupons can also be delivered to consumers using triggers based on customer location, store location or a geographical region.
