Public programs: a suggestion for a section for Museums, Libraries, Societies, Colleges and Universities, Institutes, etc.

Many of these institutions host events open to the general public. Some of these events are in-person; frequently, however, these events are held virtually--and often the events are hybrid and include attendees in person and virtually. Archived video from these events is

Public programs are a way for institutions to serve a broader audience. Public programs are a public service and are a public good.

Public programs range from interviews and discussions with institution members and guests from outside the institution.

Public programs extend the reach of the institution and serve the interests of both the public and the institution.
