There are a significant number of swords mentioned in this comic (taking place in a fantasy world based entirely on swords), but there are two categories of sword that are the most notable and powerful: the Godswords and the Demon Swords.
Each of the five deities of the Swords universe created a sword imbued with their power, and hid them until meant to be found by their chosen warrior. They all have magical abilities, including a powerful spirit monster summoned by the blade in combat.
Kargob's Fang: the Blue Godsword, forged by Kargob, the most powerful of the five, albeit also somewhat apathetic. He accidentally dropped it from the heavens, whereupon it was taken up by Xiphos the Barbarian.
Baltad's Blade: the Red Godsword, forged by Baltad. The grip was once broken off, and used as wand that can fire powerful blasts of arcane energy from the gem in the pommel. Baltad also sometimes speaks prophecies through the gem.
Bograk's Hook: The Yellow Godsword, forged by Bograk, god of light.Bograk was destroyed after his blade was devoured by the Sword of Boundless Hunger.
Greg's Vane: The Blue Godsword, forged by Greg, the god of water. It was placed in the care of a lake monster, to be taken by a person of cunning.
Green Godsword: Forged by an unnamed god. It was wielded by a samurai before being consumed by the Sword of Boundless Hunger.
Before Kargob created the universe, there were seven demonic entities in the void. They were imprisoned in the form of swords, and scattered throughout the world. They seem to have the ability to possess living creatures, taking over their bodies and altering their appearance with black skin and the eyes of the sword, though only the Sword of Absolute Fury, Sword of Boundless Hunger, Sword of Unbreakable Omens, and Five-eyed demon sword have been shown to do so.
Sword of Eternal Slumber: The first of the demon swords. Said to be the most powerful of the seven.
Sword of Absolute Fury: Has spend the ages in a snowy wasteland contemplating why it and its siblings were given the form of weapons. Upon being investigated by a wolf, it possessed the wolf to explore the world and find some answers.
Sword of Boundless Hunger: A sword motivated by the desire to consume and absorb the power of the five Godswords. He was sealed in a cave by Kargob, but escaped after possessing a goblin. After eating the Green Godsword and Baltad's Blade, as well as killing Xiphos, he possessed the prince of the kingdom, and was able to consume Bograk's Hook. However, the prince's body was not able to contain the power of three Godswords, and was destroyed. Xiphos' soul, bound to the bastard sword Chad, was transferred to the Sword of Boundless Hunger after stabbing it. Subsequently, Xiphos' zombie body ate the Sword of Boundless Hunger, transforming all three into the Demon King.
Sword of Unbreakable Omens: Currently possessing an elf, wandering the world. May have something to do with curses.
Five-eyed Demon Sword: Currently possessing an unknown creature and taken the form of a giant demon monster.
Sword of Unspeakable Darkness: Six-eyed demon sword. Appears to be abandoned in a field, and is currently being annoyed by a boy asking it questions about his crush.
Sword of Sacred Oaths: Seven-eyed demon sword. She is the mother of all magic in the universe, and runic inscriptions on swords are contracts with her.
