He is the current CEO of Metro Builders, Inc., a general contracting and restoration firm founded in Memphis, Tennessee, and is actively expanding the brand across the Southeastern United States. Price is also the former dealer principal of Price Ford, one of the top-performing Ford dealerships in the country during the 2000s, and the founder of iAuto Marketing, a national advertising and consulting firm for the automotive sector. In addition, he is the former COO and now sole owner of the Brian Elder Roofing brand, one of the largest roofing companies in the Memphis area.

Early Life and Education Christopher Daniel Price was born on December 31, 1973, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Edward Carson Price and Patricia D. Price. Following his parents’ divorce, his father moved to Clearwater, Florida, while his mother remained in Memphis. During his teen years, Price split time between both parents, living in Florida (1986–1987), Memphis (1988–1989), and Florida again (1990–1992). In 1986, during his first relocation to Florida, he settled in Dunedin, where he met Teresa, who would later become his wife.

Price attended Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida, from 1992 to 1994, serving as vice-president of student government during the 1993–1994 academic year. While attending college, he also bred veiled chameleons and bearded dragons and operated a small exotic animal import business.

Career Automotive Industry Price launched his professional career in 1994 at Norman Brothers Nissan in Orlando. He quickly moved through the dealership ranks and, in 1997, was recruited by automotive executive Richard McCotter III at McCotter Ford to serve as used car manager for a high-performance sales team in Titusville, Florida. This “Mega Team,” organized by McCotter, executed off-site sales along Florida’s Atlantic coast while ramping up volume and net profits at the dealership, regularly achieving volumes of up to 200 vehicles per month.

In 2001, Price relocated to Millington, Tennessee, where he partnered with a family member to purchase a small, struggling Ford dealership. At just 27 years old, he became the second-youngest non-generational Ford dealer ever appointed by Ford Motor Company. As dealer principal and general manager of Price Ford, he led the dealership from 2001 to 2009, growing to nearly $40 million in annual revenue. In 2004, he organized the purchase of 40 acres and oversaw the construction of a new 15,000 square foot Ford facility on Highway 51 in Millington, TN, enhancing the dealership’s visibility and operations. Under his leadership, Price Ford frequently ranked among the top 100 Ford dealers nationwide and often captured more than 20% market share in the Memphis Ford market.

In 2007, Ford Motor Company invited Price to open its National Ford Dealer Meeting, where he presented under the program "Ideas That Work" to share best practices based on Price Ford’s success in front of over 4,000 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealers. In 2008, Price sold the dealership to Homer Skelton, a fellow Memphis auto dealer, as part of a strategic acquisition also involving a local Chrysler store.

Marketing and Entrepreneurship In 2009, Price founded iAuto Marketing, a national automotive advertising and consulting firm. The company worked with dealers from Melbourne, Florida, to Los Angeles, California, offering services including sales event coordination, branding, digital advertising, on-air talent for traditional advertising, and operational strategy consulting.

Construction and Restoration Price entered the construction industry in 2017 when he invested in Brian Elder Roofing, a small company based in Arlington, Tennessee. Partnering with longtime friend Brian Elder, the company grew into one of the largest roofing firms in the Memphis area. In 2024, Price acquired full ownership of the brand.

In March 2023, Price acquired Metro Builders, Inc., a general contracting and storm restoration firm founded in 1996 by Jack Pearson in Memphis, Tennessee. After managing the company since May 2020, Price officially purchased it and began building a regional empire under the Metro Builders name.
