The Last Knife Fighter

The Last Knife Fighter (TLKF) is a Texas based singer songwriter specializing in and self proclaimed creator of the sub genre to American Folk; Outlaw Folk. His musical style has often been described as melancholy and features rich, poetic lyrics harvested from personal experiences with alcoholism, gambling, and death. [1]

Biography

Although very little is known about him, it is said that he lives in remote North Texas, seldom to surface for live shows.[1]Live shows have included venues such as The Rustic, Dallas, The Basement, Nashville, and The Belmont Hotel, Dallas.

Career

A poet in his early years, it was not until 2015 that he brought his work out of cluttered drawers and dirt covered floorboards to the stage. Signed by the independent label, Steel Blade Records in 2018, TLKF got to work on his debut album, Writing Wrongs. Produced by Charlie Sexton at Arlyn Studios in 2018, TLKF debut album, Writing Wrongs, was released on October 19th, 2019.
