"Closer" is a song by the Canadian indie band Tegan and Sara from their 2013 album Heartthrob. It was released digitally as a single September 25th 2012. Closer was mostly written by Tegan Quin, but with contributions from Sara Quin and Greg Kurstin. ^[1] An instrumental version of the song has been featured in BBC programming.

Closer has been remixed by various artists including Sultan and Ned, Morgan Page, Yeasayer and The Knocks. ^[2]
