This is a list of notable locations with an oceanic climate. The definition of an oceanic climate varies by system; the Trewartha climate classification defines an oceanic climate as a temperate climate with 4 to 7 months averaging over 10 °C (50 °F) and all months averaging over 0 °C (32 °F). Under the Köppen climate classification, however, an oceanic climate is defined as all months averaging over 0 °C (32 °F) (or −3 °C (27 °F) depending on the isotherm used) and all months averaging under 22 °C (72 °F). This article is based on the Trewartha classification; examples that are not oceanic in Köppen's classification are noted.
