Vinno Jogot (Bengali: ভিন্ন জগৎ, lit. ‘Different World’) is a private amusement park and resort in Rangpur District, northern Bangladesh. Situated on roughly 100 acres in Gonjipur village beside the Syedpur–Rangpur highway, it features over 30 indoor and outdoor attractions, including Bangladesh’s first planetarium, a folk-art museum, thrill rides, family rides, and a three-star resort. The park draws thousands of visitors daily from Rangpur and neighbouring districts.[5][6]
Location
[edit]Vinno Jogot lies in Gonjipur, Khaleya Union of Gangachara Upazila, about 14 km northwest of Rangpur city. It is accessible via the Syedpur–Rangpur highway, with bus, train and CNG routes linking to Rangpur’s central terminals.[7][8]
History
[edit]The park was conceived in the late 2000s and opened to the public in the early 2010s. It was developed by Vinno Jogot Resort Ltd. to provide an integrated education-and-recreation destination for residents of Rangpur and northern Bangladesh.[9] Since opening, the park has expanded its attractions annually and hosts corporate, school and college picnics year-round.[10]

Admission
[edit]General admission is BDT 100 per person; individual ride tickets (BDT 20–100) are sold separately on-site.[15]
Transportation
[edit]- By bus – Luxury and non-AC coaches run daily from Dhaka (Gabtoli, Mohakhali) to Rangpur (fare BDT 500–1,000), then shuttle taxis to the park.[16]
- By train – Kurigram Express departs Kamalapur Station at 09:00 AM daily (except Monday), reaching Rangpur in ~8–9 hrs (fare BDT 200–700), followed by road transfer to the park.[17]
- By CNG/Easy bike – Available from Rangpur’s Paglapir stand (BDT 100–150 for 15–20 min ride).[18]
