Roberto Martín-Martín
[edit]Roberto Martín-Martín is a Spanish computer scientist working primarily in the fields of robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. He is the head of RobIN, the Robot Interactive Intelligence Laboratory, a group part of the University of Texas at Austin, Computer Science Department.
Education
[edit]Roberto received his M.Sc. in Elektrotechnik and Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Robotics/Computer Science from the Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) under the advisement of Professor Oliver Brock on the topic of Interactive Perception. He then enrolled Stanford University as a postdoctoral scholar at the Stanford Vision and Learning Lab (SVL) with Professors Fei-Fei Li and Silvio Savarese. Roberto completed his undergraduate studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on Telecommunications Engineering with double specialization in Microelectronics and Electromagnetism.
