Marine Online

Marine Online is an eCommerce company founded in 2017, headquartered in Singapore, with the vision to modernise traditional maritime business. Marine Online’s Founder and Chairman is Dr Sit Kwong Lam, and its Chief Executive Officer is Yang Ling. In 2019, the company officially launched its desktop version of the Marine Online platform, offering digitalised maritime related services globally. It acquired the domain name MarineOnline.com in January 2020.

It has eight diverse and essential business units—bunkering, chartering, crewing, maritime insurance, marine services, port agency, ship supplies, and vessels for sale and purchase. In 2019, Marine Online established a sub-business unit, Marine Credit, that acted as a centralised credit facility for shipowners.

Since its inception, Marine Online has played a role in helping the digital transformation of the maritime industry, using Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analysis to help maritime professionals and companies within the industry navigate the rapidly transforming maritime landscape. Currently, Marine Online has expanded its services to serve the maritime industry within the Asia region, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China.

In May 2020, Marine Online signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement with the Consul-General Embassy of Panama in Singapore, offering services for expedited and hassle-free registration of vessels under the Panama flag through Marine Online’s website or app.

Besides Marine Online, the company has also branched out to cater services for seafarers through its sister brand Crewing Online, and also a luxury lifestyle brand Yacht+.
