Briken Derstila is a former Albanian-American footballer, known for his role as an attacking midfielder in Albanian football in the late 1990s and later for his work as a youth coach in the United States.
Career in Albania Derstila began his professional football career with KF Elbasani, where he played as an attacking midfielder from 1997 to 1999. He then transferred to KF Devolli, where he was part of the team until 2001.
Activity in the United States After 2001, Derstila settled in the United States, initially in Naples, Florida. There, he continued to be involved in football in a non-professional capacity and later became engaged in coaching children and youth in the Southwest Florida area.
What started as a personal activity with his son evolved into a coaching and sports education role within the local community, aiming to support and develop young football talents.
Personal Life Briken Derstila lives in Florida and remains actively involved in youth development through sports.
