John L. Molinari is an American insurance salesman[1] and politician.
Early life
[edit]Molinari was born to Helen and John B. Molinari. His father was an appellate judge in the California Courts of Appeal.[2]
Political career
[edit]Molinari was originally registered as a Republican. He later changed his registration to Democratic.[1]
Molinari has served on numerous city commissions, including the parking commission.[3]

[edit]Mayoral bid
[edit]Molinari ran for Mayor of San Francisco in the 1987 San Francisco mayoral election. He placed second overall, losing to California Assemblyman Art Agnos.
