Hi BlitzGreg

I´m from HandyGames Marketing department and I just wanted to edit our Wikipedia page. I´s nice that you are such an attentive user but please don´t delete our changes on our Wiki page.

Best regards, Anita — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.76.200.196 (talk) 14:50, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

That's wonderful, but for liability concerns first party sources should not edit their Wikipedia article themselves. Articles must maintain a neutral point of view and plagiarizing content is also against Wikipedia guidelines. You were clearly copying and pasting the information from some other website because the trademark symbol was still embedded in the text. Content also needs to be properly cited by secondary and tertiary sources, which is anybody not affiliated with your company. So please, leave the article contributions to regular Wikipedia editors. BlitzGreg (talk) 16:20, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Also, your Edits bring Up WP:COI. It is more likely that you will make Edits (And you have) That violate WP:NPOV. Please read those policy's, thank you- Happy Attack Dog (Bark! Bark!) 16:46, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Recent edits to List of massively multiplayer online games

Hello, and thank you for your recent contributions. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit(s) because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Leoesb1032 (talk) 00:08, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

I simply did that because the List_of_massively_multiplayer_online_games#RPG_.28role-playing_game.29 does the same thing, but it's fine with me I do not care either way, I just don't see the need to maintain two copies of that list. BlitzGreg (talk) 12:06, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Blitzkrieg 3, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mac (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Horde3D (game engine) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. GSK 18:45, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on DS Game Maker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

The article Flare3D has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I don't find evidence of notability for this software.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Largo Plazo (talk) 02:56, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Discuss on the article talk page please. BlitzGreg (talk) 03:22, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Offroad Legends. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. gsk 07:56, 24 January 2014 (UTC) "If this article does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself."

I am terribly sorry about that, I did not notice I couldn't do that with articles I had created myself, my mistake mate. BlitzGreg (talk) 07:58, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

If you're really insistent, I'll delete the page, but for the moment I've just redirected it to drag and drop. You're unlikely to be the last person to fail to notice it, so it makes more sense to send anyone else to what they're looking for. WilyD 10:39, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Command and Conquer Generals 2 Logo.png

Thank you for uploading File:Command and Conquer Generals 2 Logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Codename Lisa (talk) 11:44, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Codename Lisa (talk) 01:33, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:DS Game Maker Logo.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:DS Game Maker Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Ymblanter (talk) 10:29, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Seiklus

Hello BlitzGreg. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Seiklus, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Computer games (not browser games) are not eligible for deletion via A7. Also the "Impact" section makes credible claims of significance. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 19:02, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

The citations do not match up though, some of the links make no reference to the game. BlitzGreg (talk) 19:12, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
That is a resosn for editing to fix or improve the refs, or perhaps for proposing deletion at AfD, but not for speedy deletion. DES (talk) 19:15, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
Yes I am sorry about misunderstanding the speedy policy, my bad. But I am going to propose AfD because that article does not establish notability through its sources, as I said they don't even match up to the article content they cite. BlitzGreg (talk) 07:08, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Tagging of Vertigo Games

I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Vertigo Games. I do not think that Vertigo Games fits any of the speedy deletion criteria  because Multiple 3rd-party refs and 25 games released takes this well out of the A7 speedy deletion zone.. I request that you consider not re-tagging Vertigo Games for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 19:14, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Again my apologies about misinterpreting A7, but this is kind of humorous, the citations all link back to official Game Maker websites, they are not only unreliable, but also first party, as it says in the cleanup templates placed 3 years ago. BlitzGreg (talk) 07:09, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Godot

BlitzGreg, thanks for taking the time to create Godot (game engine). In its present form it is not much more than a stub, is lacking notable material, and will likely be deleted. Please do some research and flesh the article out more.

In the future, it's always better to write the article in your sandbox first, and then copy it over once it's completed. After an article has been deleted, it's often held to much higher standards to be recreated. Slacka123 (talk) 03:05, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:V-play (game engine)

Hello BlitzGreg. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "V-play".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:V-play (game engine)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. GamerPro64 04:48, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
